studio rien: valentine's day orders + *flower party* workshop tickets!
a little reminder, from me to you
Hello my duckies,
As I left the studio twenty minutes ago, I paused at the door and looked back — tall french tulips were dancing near the window, a pile of daffodils were bursting into orange bloom, and a lone branch of forsythia was glowing in the corner. Spring! It is here, at last, at least in the flower world.
It always saddens me that people don’t know that February and March are two of the most glorious months for flowers in New York. Checkerboard fritillaria, magnolia blossoms, perfectly scented Japanese sweet pea… it is all here and so buoyantly pretty. As I watch May and June (and September and October) fill up with weddings every day, it always seems a shame that these flowers don’t always get their moment to shine.
And so: a reminder! We are offering a few chances to bring some joy and perhaps a sigh of relief during this brutal winter. See below for details.

ps — I promise the next round of this newsletter will include our usual // around the studio // recs, and boy, do I have a pile up! A winery in Emilia Romagna! Electrolytes! Excessively pretty ceramics! It will be eclectic and not just a list of studio reminders, I promise!
